This faucet is not something I need—I have a perfectly serviceable faucet—but I still want it. It’s stylish and tall (so useful for filling up big pots! and pitchers! and vases!) and simple, and when you only have one faucet in your house, you want it to be a good one. Yes, it’s true: I brush my teeth in the same sink I wash my dishes in. So you may begin to see why I dream of sink improvements.
IKEA wins again with this shiny, long-necked faucet. It’s name is Edsvik and it costs $58* including tax, and this drawing does, too!
* I’ve decided to add $3 to all prices to accommodate shipping your drawing to you in a sturdy mailer. If you are able to pick the drawing up in Brooklyn, I will deduct that price. Any questions? Let me know:  kirsten@catasterist.com.
