Another huge inspiration and influence is Kate Bingaman-Burt, and her awesome Obsessive Consumption project, where she draws a purchase every day. I was drawing a small thing at work the other day (for work I draft a bit, but I rarely get to actually draw) and took a break to look at her blog, and realized I needed a drawing outlet.
I’ve wanted a drawing of Kate’s for ages (I even emailed her months ago to ask about what was available), but between deciding which one I liked and getting around to buying it, I just didn’t get it together. I still want one! I want this one! It will look fantastic hanging in my kitchen, and it has food, friends, and travel. I love it. It costs $32, and so does this drawing.
